Troubleshooting

Preview images appear slowly when I scroll fast. What should I do?

Previews load on demand to save resources. Scroll a bit slower and images will appear progressively.

After drag & drop, the extract window didn’t open

This page accepts a single file at a time, and it must be a .pdf. Drop the file on the central tool area, or click Upload PDF instead.

Why is the page count different from what I see?

Make sure you didn’t click the delete (×) button on some pages. If you removed pages by mistake, refresh the preview or re-upload the source PDF and try again.

I deleted the wrong page. How do I restore it?

There’s no Undo in this version. Please re-upload the file and select pages again.

How do I merge with another PDF after extracting?

After extraction, use the Merge PDF tool to combine your result with other PDFs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I keep only specific pages?

Yes. Click the cross (×) to remove any pages you don’t want. Pages left in the list will be combined into one PDF.

Will the output be smaller after removing pages?

Usually yes, because the result contains fewer pages. We do not compress or reduce the quality of kept pages.

Can I type page ranges (e.g., 1–5, 8, 11–20)?

Not yet. This version supports clicking × on page cards only.

If I close the extract window, can I continue later?

If you close it via ESC or by clicking outside, you may need to choose the file again to re-enter extract mode.

Can I set a custom download filename?

By default, the name is based on the original file plus a timestamp, for example -extracted-YYYYMMDD-HHMM.pdf. To change it, rename your source file before uploading.
